Sani Maths starter August 19 Term 3 2021

Today for Maths, I have done a Maths starter +, two examples of how to change an improper fraction into a mixed fraction . It has  a video to explain it. here is The video. Today for Grammar, I have done a Common Noun activity. It was activity number 1. What I found hard was that I did not know what 6 parts of the pigs body that were Common Nouns. So I just guessed. What I found easy was naming public places. So hope you enjoy!

Sani the amazing plants presentations

Last week on Friday, 13 August Te Wairua Pakiki (TWP for short) Whanau or 4 & 6 done a presentation about our amazing plants. We got split into groups of 3 or more. My group was Solomone Lehauli, Solomon Tutia, Meela Gray-Aitau, Audrey Aitiope, and me Sanitose Niueli Tai. Our tree was the Totara Tree. We were singing about the tree. Sani The Feast of Transfiguration

Today for R.E Saint Pius X Cathiloc School went to Church. While we were in Church, we were learning about Transfiguration. The transfiguration of Jesus is a event where Jesus is transfigured and becomes radient in gloy upon the mountain. Transfiguration means that in a religious context, it is the experience of momentary divine radience. Divine means that something that comes from a higher power. So hope you enjoy!

Banyan Fig Fact Sheet

Banyan Fig	It belongs to the Moraceae family, it is a Ficus genius, and subgenus is  F. . Urostigma.
Roots/Aka	Older banyan trees are identified by floating support roots that grow into thick, woody trunks, which can become identical from the main trunk with age. Old trees can spread sideways by using these floating roots to grow over a wide area.
Wood /Sino	Banyan was one of the trees planted in this attempt to isolate a suitable plant protein. The wood from the root branches is considerably stronger and more useful.
Bark /kili oe fuu ninu	They grow from seeds that land on other trees. The roots they send down smother their throw and grow into thick, branch-supporting pillars that resemble new tree trunks. Banyans are the world's biggest trees in terms of the area they cover. The biggest one alive today is in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
Leaves and shoots Lau ‘o e niu	A number of wild banyan kind that compete for sunlight, especially of the genus Ficus, presenting this strangling habit. This tree should not be planted near foundations, driveways, streets or even your home, as its canopy alone can spread quite far. In fact, a banyan tree can get up to about 100 feet (30 m.) tall and spread over several lands.
Growth Rate Fefe ene tupu o lahi	Branch takes several weeks to some months to produce roots. when the plant is developing new roots and setteled, one can see the change in shoot system also, trunk line start gives new buds, leaves and branches. The Branch start growing. Allow the plant to grow at least for one year in the nursery bag / plastic bag.

Sani Tahuna Tōrea Mind flow

Term 2 RE Sani

Monday 17th of May 2021 - Jesus' ASCENISION

Jesus entered Jerusalem - on a donkey 50 days before ASCENISION day.

On Thursday of the week that followed Palm Sunday - Jesus had his last meal within his apostles.

The day after his last supper Jesus was put to death on a cross on Calvary 

hill.

Jesus lay in a - tomb for 3 days and then GOD raised him up.

After his resurrection Jesus showed himself - to his friends and some did not reconignse him.

He spent time with his apostles and 50 days after Palm Sunday Jesus - told them he was going to return to his Father.

Because Jesus entered hevean in glory he - made it possible for his followers to do the same.

Today for Māori, I wrote about the Maori alphabet. In the Māori alphabet, it is the Māori words and digraghs. Digraghs are two letters combined into one sound.
