Term 2 RE Sani

Monday 17th of May 2021 - Jesus' ASCENISION

Jesus entered Jerusalem - on a donkey 50 days before ASCENISION day.

On Thursday of the week that followed Palm Sunday - Jesus had his last meal within his apostles.

The day after his last supper Jesus was put to death on a cross on Calvary

hill.

Jesus lay in a - tomb for 3 days and then GOD raised him up.

After his resurrection Jesus showed himself - to his friends and some did not reconignse him.

He spent time with his apostles and 50 days after Palm Sunday Jesus - told them he was going to return to his Father.

Because Jesus entered hevean in glory he - made it possible for his followers to do the same.

Sani Mothers day

Today we had a very special mass. We were celebrating Mother's Day. We had some of our mothers come in and celebrate with us. In class this week we made our very own Mother's Day cards.
First we folded a A4 carboard paper in half.
Then we glued the bottom edge of a stripped paper onto the front of the card.
When we shaped the two stripped papers into a heart quilled we glued paper and then roses inside the heart. Lastly we let our cards dry for one day.
Here's what i wrote for my Mum

I love my Mum because she loves me and I love her.
I appreciate my Mum because she makes the greatest chips.
I know my Mum loves because when I am sad sometimes, Mum comes and gives me a big, warm hug.
